Some of our chapters are quite long. If the music begins to get on your nerves after a while, just click the Stop button up in your browser's tool bar to shut it off.

Too many believers today mirror the first century Christians who disappointed Jesus in the church of Ephesus at Revelation 2:1-5. They changed course and lost interest in the things of Christianity that got them in good with Jesus in the first place. When was the last time anyone saw an Ephesian believer? That church is gone.

Today's professing Christians are not that much different really. Too many have been distracted by modern, sophisticated diversions— creation science, abortion, Noah's ark, assisted suicide, civil rights, anti gay and lesbian platforms, boycotts, school prayer, national morality, church life, and political action. All those things, same as the pursuit of wealth and security, are like the deadly Columbia River bar that wrecks the fishing and holiday pleasure of many a boater here in Oregon. I know and I've seen it too many times to be wrong about this. I truly believe that if Dr. Martin Luther King had stayed behind the pulpit of his church, and represented the New Testament's Christ as he was ordained, instead of throwing his Master's best interests aside to mount a civil rights soap box, that he would have lived well beyond his 39 years. When he fully devoted himself to politics, Dr. King became quite useless for Gospel purposes, and subject to early termination.

2Tim 2:1-4 . .You therefore, my son [Timothy], be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier at war entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.

John 15:4-6 . .Abide in me, and I will abide in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man abides in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withersó such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

1John 5:16 . .If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.

Christian friend, there's no need to end your days useless to God like Dr. King. Pay particular attention to the chapters: Faith Without Works Is Dead and How To Walk In The Spirit and also, The Best Way To Pray.

The FYI link Modern Judaism connects to Tracy Rich's site; Judaism 101. Tracy has put a lot of hard work into an outstanding site for his fellow Jews; and anybody else curious about modern Judaism is welcome there too. But he takes a lot of flack from missionaries so please don't join them and start attacking his beliefs. Tracy's site is a great learning resource, and if we will all visit him with the intent to learn something, I know for a fact he will most certainly appreciate your regard.

Jews For Judaism is a site with a pretty good library of arguments opposing the messiahship of Jesus of Nazareth; and well worth visiting. Jewish scholars have had about two thousand years to rebuttal the New Testament and have done a pretty good job of it. It might surprise you to learn that many Jews have given the Christian Greek scriptures some serious thought. It's true there are Jews who are obstinate; but not all are like that. There are many who just simply aren't convinced. And after all, only a fool believes everything he hears so we can hardly fault genuine caution.

Jews For Jesus is a well organized missionary effort with lots of resources to offer people who would like to know how to talk with those Jews who do not yet recognize Jesus as their Messiah.

The people listed below in the credits didn't actually help us create our site with their own personal input or anything like that. It's just that they all played major roles in our training over the years so we feel that they deserve some special recognition. Everybody can reach a lot higher when they stand on somebody's shoulders.
